Griffonia is the main ingredient in this product. It is a plant occurring in parts of Africa that contains 5-Hydroxytryptophan (5-HTP) which is an important building block for the human body to form serotonin. Serotonin plays an important role in the body as a neurotransmitter to transport signals between neurons in the nervous system. Serotonin levels have been implicated in the regulation of sleep, depression, anxiety, stress, aggression, appetite, temperature, sexual behaviour, and pain sensation.
